We are Rebellicious, a private gaming community based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. We take your privacy seriously—which is partly why we left Big Tech and run our own servers.
What we collect:
We collect only what is necessary to run this community: your username, email address, and the profile information you choose to provide.
We strongly advise using a privacy-focused email account when signing up. Free options include Proton Mail (proton.me) and Tuta Mail (tuta.com). For more privacy-friendly alternatives, visit european-alternatives.eu/alternative-to/gmail
What we do with it:
We use your data solely to manage your membership. We do not sell, share, or hand over your data to third parties—ever.
Where it is stored:
All data is stored on our own server, hosted by Hetzner Cloud in Germany. It does not leave the EU.
Community services:
Our IRC chat server and Mumble voice server run on the same server. Chat logs and voice connections are not recorded or stored beyond what is technically necessary to run the service.
Email:
We send transactional emails (registration, notifications) via WP Mail SMTP.
Cookies:
We use only functional cookies to keep you logged in. No tracking cookies, no advertising networks, no analytics that follow you around the internet.
Your rights:
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. Just contact us at rebellicious.gaming@proton.me and we’ll sort it out.
Third party services:
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook pixels, or any other third-party tracking services.
